Did apnea play role in death of Big Moe?
KTRE is reporting rapper Kenneth (Big Moe) Moore, has died at the age of 33.
Big Moe, according to information released through a press release, suffered a massive heart attack on October 7, and then, while hospitalized, evidently suffered a stroke. He died yesterday, Sunday, October 14, at Houston’s Ben Taub Hospital.
At this point, I am wondering what role sleep apnea may have played in the rapper’s death. There are two key factors that ring of apnea, and maybe even untreated apnea, though that may later become public through this publicists or others close to him. Those factors are:
- Big Moe is obviously overweight
- Suffered a heart attack (one of the health issues people with untreated apnea are at great risk of suffering)
What’s your take on this? Do you think rapper Big Moe suffered sleep apnea during his life? He certainly had the major stereotypical warning sign, the weight. Did he snore? Was he doze off during the day? Did he have high blood pressure? Did he drive his own vehicle? If so, did he ever nod off behind the wheel? Did he use a CPAP or BiPAP machine? Had he ever been diagnosed with sleep apnea?
There’s a lot behind the death of rapper Big Moe that I’d like to know, but for now, the hospital’s spokespeople are keeping things under a tight seal.
