Poor sleep among adolescents often due to high-tech toys
High-tech toys and gadgets, including cell phones, camera phones, and other tools available to allow folks to communicate, talk, yak, send photos, send instant messages (known as IM’ing), or browse the Internet, has turned into an excuse youngsters find to stay awake at night, often unknown to parents.
A new study published in the journal Sleep shows that adolescents are using cell phones after going to bed, often hiding this secret from their parents, which is contributing to an increasingly fatigued generation of youngsters. Continue Reading »
